Vera Wang's Newest Scent

Vera Wang Be Jeweled

Today I received Vera Wang's Newest scent Be Jeweled. I am a major fan of her Flower Princess, it's sweet and lively, so I was looking forward to having a whiff of newest addition.

When I peeled off the bubble wrap I was greeted with a gorgeous box. Pink with silver and purple jewels, so pretty! Then I saw the actual bottle of the perfume and let me just say Vera has not disappointed. I would be putting this bottle on my dressing table for sure. The bottle is cut to look like a gem and it has a cute bunch of pink, purple and champagne gems around the neck of the bottle.
The first spray was a fresh feminine scent which was sweet but not as sweet as her "flower princess", its a tad more sophisticated than that. After 10 minutes I gave my wrist another sniff to see what the middle notes smell like. I have to say , I wasn't that pleased with the middle notes. They were a bit bland and I don't think it suited my tastes at all. But I tried the base notes, which it a faithful finale to any fragrance and this is where the scent truly reveals itself. I much preferred the Base notes as they were subtle and floral, a deeper floral with a woody edge. I think this is a more grown up and sophisticated scent to the Vera Wang Flower Princess and a great scent when on a date or out with the girls.

Top Notes: Pomegranate, red currant, champagne accord.

Heart: Passion fruit natural extract, pink honeysuckle, pink peony

Dry: Radiant silvanone & cosmone musks, pink sugar crystals, Australian sandalwood.

This is an eau de Parfum spray and I found that it lasted on my skin at least 6 hours.

Have you tried this? What did you think?

Have Fun
