Christmas Celebrations!

Christmas with Colour Theory

Only a few more days until Christmas and I think this is a great time to talk about the Colour Theory Christmas Collection*.
I was sent a decent amount of products to really get a feel of these products, so here we go!

Firstly I must talk about the Oh Brow Beautiful! Brow Palette. I don't really fill in my brows but I am really impressed with this functional and travel friendly set. This palette contains everything a girl needs to start getting her brows into shape and looking fine. It consists of three pressed powders in light, medium and dark. Two shimmer eye shadows are included along with a wax to keep everything in place. Added extras include the brow pencil, a small set of tweezers and a brush duo for the eyeshadows.

The Drop Dead Glamorous Lip Gloss Set has seven mini lip glosses that are perfect if you can't decide what gloss you want to buy. I find mini lip glosses are really handy if you have a tendency to leave them all over the house and lose them, at least I have back ups! All of these glosses have a sparkle to them, some with a hint of shimmer and most with larger glitter for more a glam look. I noticed a candy scent coming from all the glosses as well. This pack has colours ranging from light pink, bright Barbie-style pink to dark plum. I feel that this pack would be perfect for your little sister or niece that is just starting to play with makeup.

I think that these Jumbo Lip Crayons are a bit more grown up and are perfect to throw in a handbag
on the way to a Christmas Party or to pack with you for holidays. A combination of lip gloss, balm and lip-stick these easy to apply crayons are so versatile! I received the colours Sweet Tart and Rosewood, both beautiful in their own right. The Sweet Tart is a blue-based bright pink, that will add a pop to any makeup took. Rosewood in a deeper, more serious colour set to add drama to an evening look. All the crayons can be applied by gently tapping the crayon onto the lips for a hint of colour or to amp up the colour, apply lipliner that's the same shade before adding the crayon on top.

Sweet Tart left and right Rosewood.

The Snowflake Eyeshadow Palette is so pretty to look at! I am pleasantly surprised at the colour pay-off and how creamy these eyeshadows feel. This palette has 30 different colours that are either pearled, shimmer or fine glitter. It would have been nice to see a couple of matte shades in there also but that's not the case for this palette. Some of the colours are very similar, there seems to be 12 golds all with slight variations of tone. Nevertheless I can see that many, many makeup looks can be made with this eye shadow palette.

All these products can be found at Amcal pharmacy or Colour Theory can be found online at:http://www.amcal.com.au/colour-theory

Have a fun festive season!

Christmas Celebrations

Dr Hauschka Lavender Natural Goodness Kit.

Anything with Lavender is my favourite. So when I heard of these gorgeous kits that have come out just in time for Christmas I had to try them.

Not only do the Natural Goodness Kits* rrp $29 have a bit of everything for your bathing requirements but they still ensure that they are a decent travel size with the great Dr Hauschka quality. There is  also a Lemon scented kit but I could not turn down my love of Lavender. The entire collection have the same subtle Lavender scent that even the most sensitive noses will not find offensive.

The Calming Bath Essence has a milk texture that gives a beautiful aroma to any bath. I actually used this for my daughter before her bed time and it makes her smell gorgeoous. It ceated a creamy looking bath that feels just luxurious.
The Calming Body Oil creates a silky smooth layer of hydration before quickly adsorbing into the skin. This oil leaves a light scent and is perfect to layer with any of the Lavender shower and bath products.
As always, with a kit of four products there will be a couple that really take your fancy. Well, for me it was the beautiful Lavender Sandalwood Calming Body Wash and the Lavender Sandalwood Calming Body Cream.
The body wash has a light creamy texture that lathers up surprisingly well with water. It delivers the same amazing, calming scent as the other products in the kit and it feels very luxurious.

I have been pairing it with the Body Lotion and I have enjoyed the moisturising feeling this gives my skin. This small tube has lasted me about a week but I have been careful about not applying too much  product as I wanted it to last. I have put the Body Wash on my Christmas List because it it such a lovely fragrance to end the day with.

Above is a sample of the Body Oil and the Body Cream
These little gift packs would make a gorgeous Christmas gift for co-worker, best friend, mother or sister. It gives a chance for the receiver to relax after the busy Christmas season!

What's your favourite product?

Christmas Celebrations

 Lush Christmas 2015

Christmas is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate yet another Christmas than to head to Lush and check out their Christmas range.

Star Dust Bath Bomb (front)

 Holly Go Lightly Bubble Bar

Salt and Peppermint Bark (left), Yog Nog Soap (right)

Star Dust: This bath Bomb didn't last very long! It smelt so good I had to use it immediately. It has an exotic scent of vanilla and Peruvian Rosewood, so its an earthy and floral. The star is covered in shimmery powder and has a bright blue centre. It fizzes and changes colour and sparkles, what a feast for the eyes!

Holly Go Lightly Bubble Bar: To me this bar really smells like a fruit Christmas pudding. A generous sized bubble bar when used wisely can last a few baths and I intend on using this at length. It has a warm and comforting scent to it and reminds me of a cold, white Christmas. The main oils are lime oil, patcholi oil, and cinnamon leaf oil. A great combination for a green and sparkly bubble bar.

Salt and Peppermint Bark: I am so excited to try this! I love the Lush Big Buffy which is an exfoliting bar and I'm hoping I will get similar results with this one too. This is hard bar in enticing green with pink specks throughout, so it looks interesting. That's really the only reason I bought it but it has a subtle peppermint scent that is sure to feel cooling on the skin.

Yog Nog Soap: This soap was added s a sample. it has a sweet toffee scent and is the perfect scent if you are a fan of sweet things. This is not my favourite scent as I prefer earthy (figs and leaves soap) and citrus scents (bohemian soap) but I will certainly use it.

Have Fun!

Native Box *Beauty* Spring 2015

Spring Surprises!

The Spring Native Box is here! Lets see what is inside:

Evohe 3.6.9 Omega: With active ingredients such as Brazil nut oil and Arctic Cloudberry seed, this hydrating serum has a number of uses. This can be applied during the day as a moisturiser or as a base for smooth application of makeup. I have a different serum on the go at the moment so this one will have to wait its turn.

Evohe Repair Intensive: This oily based cream is used as a repair treatment for sunburn, red inflamed or itchy skin, cuts, bites and burns. Calendula, Golden Seal and Gotu Kola has repairing and soothing qualities to the skin and I find this a very practical addition to the box as the sun has come out to play.

Ivadore Tanning Treatment: This colourless and odourless natural tanning lotion is a welcome addition to the box this season. The handy sample size means that I can get a few applications on before Christmas :) An all natural tanning lotion that is suitable for sensitive skin is great to try, its also suitable for face and body. This tan works over a period of 8 hours so its recommended to apply on clean and dry skin, wait ten minutes before dressing, sweating or getting wet.

Anerah makes a regular appearance in Native Box and this week we have received three of their products. The Relaxation Bath Salts have a gorgeous rose colour and contain Rosemary oil and Lemongrass oil for a relaxing scent. I honestly don't think I will be using these as I am moving house in a few days and there will only be a shower with no bath. Some lucky person will get these from me.
This Lavender Face and Body Scrub I will certainly use! I am a HUGE fan of body scrubs and when I get them in these boxes (or anywhere) I start them straight away. This particular body scrub can be easily used in the shower so its convenient for me and has a gorgeous Lavender scent from the Organic Lavender Essential Oil.
Anerah also added their Sensitive Face Mask which is a lovely addition. This simple mask contains two ingredients of Kaolin and Quartz, so no hidden surprises in there for those who suffer from sensitive skin. I will use this very soon as my skin is needing a bit of attention and relaxation.

There were quiet a few practical pieces in this box, which s great. I also appreciated the new brands that I haven't seen before such as Evohe and Ivadore. I have to admit that I was pretty underwhelmed when I first opened the box but as soon as I had good look and play with the products I am really excited to give them a proper go.

What did you think of this Seasons Native Box?

Trilogy CoQ10 Eye Recovery Concentrate.

My New Essential

I'm so excited to finally be back blogging, it can be a little difficult to keep to a schedule when I need to wait for my Internet to be renewed each month from my phone company. I have used it all up within in two weeks! Thats just me being disorganised.
I have wanted to review this product. I have been using it for about a month now and I feel its an adequate amount of time to really get a feel for this type of skincare.

I bought this eye concentrate at Priceline when I was looking for an eye product that would help combat the puffiness under my (too little sleep) eyes.
I really enjoy using the smart stainless-steel roller ball applicator because it makes it so easy to apply one handed without getting my fingers covered in product.
I feel that the puff under and around my eyes has dramatically reduced and my eye area looks a lot brighter and awake.
The consistency is like a thin oil that glides super easy onto the eye area and is quickly absorbed. I adore the cooling feeling this concentrate leaves on my skin and within a few minutes I can see results.  With an impressive list of ingredients such as Co-enzyme Q10, to help revitalise and protect against anti-ageing. Caffeine tones and tightens and horse Chestnut helps to prevent bags under the eyes. I am pleased that this products worked wonders for me and caused no sensitivities. As with all Trilogy products this contains the purest natural plant oils and botanical extracts, I feel like I'm putting quality ingredients on my skin which is really important to me.

I used this concentrate as a night treatment under my moisturiser. It can be used under makeup and as a - whenever- during the day. I cant say I can prove the reduction of fine lines with this product ( I don't have any), but during the last three days of preparing and writing this blog post, my eye concentrate has not been used while it sits next to my laptop. Already I am eager to use it again as I can already see the tired look under my eyes return.

The Trilogy CoQ10 Eye Recovery Concentrate is available at Price line, also online is the Trilogy Age-Proof Eye Recovery Concentrate: http://www.trilogyproducts.com/products/coq10-eye-recovery-concentrate/

Irresistible Me Diamond Styling Iron

New Technology

I haven't owned a good quality hair straightener before I was offered to trial the Irresistible Me Diamond Styling Tool.* I succumbed to using cheap Velcro rollers as a hair styler, but now I am so excited to be trying a proper hair straighter for years. For someone who has very limited experience with hair styling tools when I opened the box I was impressed with the sleek look, colour and weight of this straighter.
This Diamond styler is a Smart-Iron with Celsius and Fahrenheit conversion, it adjusts  to provide perfect contact between your hair and the plates, and more! I found the long cord with a 360 degree swivel very handy for getting to every angle of my hair without the tugging and frustration of  short power cord.

 Some great features include:
  • Its has a display, so you can see what temperature it is.
  • The temperature is adjustable.
  • It is lightweight and it comes in  fun colour.
  • It heats up fast and turns off automatically.
  • It creates frizz free hair!
I am very impresses with the stylish and easy to use hair styling tool that straightens and curls. I would recommend this to my friends!

Be aware that the Irresistable Me Diamond Styling Tool requires a power adapter for Australian homes. Avaliable at Dick Smith, Harvey Norman, the Post Office. I got mine from Strandbags.

The Irresistible Me Diamond is normally $149 but at the moment they are having a Halloween sale for $112, get in quick! : http://www.irresistibleme.com/hair-tools.html

Trying This Spring...

In My Cabinet.

Spring is always an exciting time for me. I feel a lot more adventurous with trying new products and these are a few that I will be adding to my routine.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse is a brand new item for me. This is the famous dry oil with 6 precious vegetable oils. It's suppose to soften and strengthen everywhere from your body, face and hair. I plan on using this in my hair and as an extra supplement when I get dry legs.

Its a no-briner that I will be using this tester size of the Adorn Illuminiser this Spring. It gives my skin such a pretty glow! I feel like I can put this on top of any base such as a BB+ Cream or a mineral foundation and it stays put and last most of the day.

Hopefully if I have enough time to paint my nails I will swipe on a couple of coats of the Sea Siren Nail Varnish in Sea Shells. Sea Siren is a company that makes Vegan polishes and is '5 Free'. I like this shade because its a classic taupe/beige and it's a lovely neutral shade to wear this spring.

A while ago at the Perth Bloggers United meet I was gifted the ChiChi Chandelier Lips Lacquer in Brat Pack. I don't usually wear lip glosses in winter but as soon as the sun comes out, my make-up (on the days that I wear any at all, lets be real) gets a bit more shimmery. So I'm going to give this crystallised lip gloss a whirl. It comes in a pale pink base that has barely any pigment so it should be perfect for layering on a day out or I will probably wear it on it's own for a more understated look.

Chi Chi Chandelier Lips in Brat Pack.

When I dig the shorts out I also dig out the tanning body moisturiser. Being naturally pale is great, embrace your natural beauty! But there are some major benefits to the Pure Tan Gradual Tan. First it's SPF 15+, also it's gradual. So I can pop a bit on, get a healthy looking glow and then stop at that. I love being in control!

Papaya or Paw Paw Ointment really is an essential beauty item. I love this little tube with the simple lip applicator. I find this one is the best I have tried as it is unscented, pure and moisturises my lips to wonderful softness. A basic lip ointment like this will live in my bag this Spring.

One more item I will be using this Spring is the Moom Wax Kit. Waxing is a brilliant way to get longevity with hair removal, that's why I have never been a fan of shaving. It takes just a little more time to wax my legs but I get at least four weeks of hair-free legs.

So those are the things that I am keen to add to my routine for this season.

Have Fun!

Jamberry Nail Wraps

It's A Wrap!

Ever since nail design smashed into the beauty scene there has been multiple products to help you get the best result, like fine-tipped polish applictors, nail pens and now Jamberry!
Jamberry Wraps* are an affordable nail art alternative to fiddling with messy polished and having a precision hand (which I have not, by the way). The wraps come in an array of designs and new ones are being released regularly. The application takes only a few minutes and the result is neat nail art!
The design I received for trial were white base with blue, pink and green dots on them, this design suits fun weekend wear. I have very short nails and tiny nail beds so I was keen to see how these nail wraps would stick.

Surprisingly they were still easy to apply and suck to my nail just fine. The application is simple and can be completed in just a few minutes.
In a nutshell:
  • Push back cuticles and clean nails.
  • Match nail to nail wrap that best fits.
  • Peel off nails wrap and warm adhesive with mini heater or hairdryer.
  • When warm press nail warp onto the nail, apply firm pressure and use cuticle pusher to seal adhesive around the edge of the nail.
  • To remove excess, trim edge of wrap and file off the rest with nail file using downward strokes.
  • Apply heat and pressure to the wrap again.
Your tube videos are even available to watch for proper application and removal of the wraps:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWChddzkXeU

ELF Blush Review

Blush or Illuminiser?

Swatch straight from the compact onto the skin using no brush.

During a frantic order from iHerb for some soap and toothpaste, I got a little distracted and had a look at the makeup. I ordered the ELF Baked Blush in Peachy Cheeky because I didn't own a peach tones blush.
This blush comes in the basic ELF packaging with a clear lid, it's not an overly large blush but a decent size nonetheless. It certainly has a gorgeous peach tone with massive amounts of illuminating qualities to it. This could certainly be used as a two- in-one blush and illuminiser. I love that this blush gives my cool-tones skin a natural looking warmth which will be perfect in Summer, if I ever get a tan. One thing that I could say is that there is not a lot of colour pay-off when using straight from a brush, I would recommend using a damp brush or even blending the blush straight from your fingers. However if its just the lightest tint of shimmer your after, go ahead and use a dry brush.
My verdict is that for the price of $8.00 this makes a fantastic budget friendly highlighter, but not a blush.

NS-5 Cuticle & Nail Complex

For A Speedy Recovery

Nails need a lot of TLC but often I forget to give them their much needed attention. In fact nails are the least of my beauty worries. I bite them, pick at them and if I get a hang-nail, I yank that baby off! Yes it sounds gruesome but quiet frankly I really can't be bothered with having pretty nails, it's never been my 'thing'. Until recently I rarely used hand creams, but my nails have been so tattered that the skin around them were red raw and extremely painful. I had to do something!
So I searched through my samples and found what I was looking for, NS-5 Cuticle & Nail Complex.* Given my past success with the NS range I knew that if this didn't work then nothing would. Thank goodness that after four short days of applying this twice a day my skin was on the road to recovery! The pain had stopped after the first full day and my skin almost immediately began to heal. NS-5 is a thick cream with  thin applicator so that precision application means no wastage.

So what's in this nail cream that makes it work so so good? Urea, Shea Butter moisturisers,  Vitamin E, Aloe Vera and Allantoin conditions the skin and Vitamin B5, Silicea and Hydrolysed Keratin give added protection. I personally believe that the reason why Plunketts products work so well are the total lack of petro-chemicals and parabens and other nasties. These ingredients in skincare can be absolutely no help when skin is in trouble and needs to repair itself.
So would I recommend it? Er, yeah. For anyone who needs speedy recovery for painful cuticles and hangnails with no extra fuss, it should suit you well.

Have Fun!

Flora and Fauna Box Spring 2015

A Sneak Peek!

It happened again, my obsession with subscription boxes has taken over me and I caved and bought a Flora and Fauna Spring Box for 2015.

I don't know why but I have quiet high expectations on this box. I have read recent reviews on the  boxes and was very impressed so I hoped that the Spring box would be on par with those.

I was so so happy to receive a Kosmea Moisturising Lotion SPF 30 $44.50 in this box. I believe it to be so relevant to the upcoming weather and I can wait to get stuck into this! I will be using this as my day moisturiser before I head out the door. Kosmea is one of those brands that has a reputation for beautiful and naturally made skincare products, there is no difference with this moisturiser. Full of refreshing cucumber extract and aloe Vera this hydrating lotion staves off damage from the sun as well as great protection from harmful UV rays.

Adorn Cosmetics makes the most gorgeous illuminiser. With a rose gold tint, this shade is perfect for a complete fresh and dewy glow. I use this on my temples in a 'C' shape but it can be used to make brows more defined and lips can appear larger when used on the cupids bow.

I had been anticipating a product from Vanessa Megan in this box and I wasn't disappointed. We received the Darling Perfume trial size and I am completely in love with this scent. I have been using it everyday and it works perfectly on my skin. This is a sweet and very girly scent with hints of a warm and spicy undertone. I will be wearing this all spring and hopefully (if it lasts) Summer too.

My new night serum! The Tula Naturals Ultra Nourishing Facial Serum - phew say that 20 times!-is packed full of hemp, rosehip and macadamia oils to prevent moisture loss and regenerate the skins protective layers. This does all the work while I'm sleeping too!

Swatch of Adorn Cosmetics Illuminiser.

A couple of little sachets are always good, these are Weleda Sea Buckthorn Hand Cream and Dr Hauschka Rose Day Cream. I have already used the hand cream with these Eco Tools Moisture Gloves. To use these I lightly rubbed some hand cream onto my hands (they were still tacky) and popped the gloves on before I went to bed. I cant say I saw a difference straight away but I will continue to use the gloves because they didn't fall off during the night. However I have to find the other glove because my daughter got hold of them and I misplaced one. Haha.

This box is gorgeous, I love the wonderful quality brands that Flora and Fauna have chosen to add in the box. I can't wait to see what they have in store for us in Summer!

Flora and Fauna Box is avaliable here:https://www.floraandfauna.com.au/beauty-boxes/

*Review* Kelapa Organics

Natural Skincare At It's Best

Using Coconut Oil in skincare is not a new thing nor is it to be underrated. Its been used in many beauty products all over the world for its anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, as well as being hydrating and soothing on the skin. It's no wonder why Australian company, Kelapa Organics has jumped on board and created their own line of skincare and hair care using this natural wonder.

I have been using the Cream Face Cleanser* for a few weeks and I feel I know why people love Coconut Oil. This cleanser is a light and smooth liquid that had very little if any scent at all. It has 90% Certified Organic Ingredients and feels so gentle on the skin. I have combination skin, so it's dry on the cheeks and oily and prone to breakouts on my forehead, nose and chin. Being that this is a cream cleanser it worked very well on my cheeks and I appreciate the clean and soft feeling that this cleanser and left me with. Unfortunately, it didn't quiet have the gumption to clear the pesky “impurities” on my T-Zone. However I figured out that all my skin needed was a little exfoliation and then this cleanser worked brilliantly in my T-Zone. So this is my verdict, Love it! I would certainly recommend it. I believe this cleanser would suit well for normal, dry and sensitive skin types. For oily and problem skin I would suggest pairing it with Kelapa Organics Gentle Facial Exfoliant for that extra 'oomph' you may need to lift out the dirt in your pores.

Kelapa Hand and Body Lotion* is my absolute favourite. This lotion has a light non-greasy formula and it just works. All the work comes from the ingredients of Organic Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil and Almond Oil with no fussy fragrance just a light and natural scent of Sweet Orange. My legs tend to get really dry in Winter but this moisturiser is very hydrating and I have noticed huge difference in the health of my skin. I really enjoyed how quick this absorbs into the skin, so I can get dressed straight after and not have to worry about sticking to my clothes. That is a huge bonus for a busy mum like me! For deeper penetration of the natural oils in this lotion it's best to exfoliate the skin 2-3 times a week before applying.

My experience with Kelapa Organics has been all around positive, and I think I have found me a new favourite body lotion!

Winter Favourites 2015

Winter has gone and Spring has sprung.

My favourite season has come to an end. I lean towards a much creamier and luxurious menu of skincare when the weather gets cold and my skin gets a bit drier. These were my picks for the season.

As a cleanser I have tried out the Toby and Rosie Pink Salt Facial Cleanser. I found this in the back of my bathroom cupboard. This was a sample that came with an order I made a long time ago, so I wasn't in a rush and try it. However, this has been a lovely substitute to my usual cleanser ( Toby and Rosie Activated Charcoal Bar) as it still makes my skin clean and glow. It contains pink salt that gently foams when mixed with water and this small tub lasted all winter and some.

My mornings are pretty hectic and I really don't have time to stand over the bathroom sink and cleanse my face the 'normal' way (I shower at night). Instead I have been reaching for the Kosmea Facial Cleansing Wipes*. These have been my skin saviour these last few weeks and if I didn't have them on hand to give my face a quick wipe after brushing my teeth I wouldn't be cleansing my face at all. These contain a moisturising blend of Rose hip oil, Olive oil and soothing Aloe Vera all in one Biodegradable cloth. I'm not particularly a fan of the scent but the cloth is so soft and the cleansing solution is so gentle that I can forgive that.

After I give my face a wipe in the morning, I finish off with a gentle moisturiser, so that my face doesn't feel like it's about to crack. I'm loving Zk'in Relief Moisturiser* for its gentle yet extremely effective moisturising tricks. I really enjoy popping a bit of this on in the mornings. It's really creamy and has very little scent. I love how this is so light that my face doesn't get oily during the day and its only got good stuff in it so that means no petro chemicals, sulphates or parabens.

At night I have been changing things up a bit and have added a night serum into my routine. I was sent the Dr Hauschka Night Serum*  a while ago and I love it! I have continued to use this every night and I have seen real difference in my complexion. Mostly my skin is softer and my skin-tone has evened out to reveal brighter looking skin. I'm all for that. The secret ingredient is Berner Rose Apple that help to support skin renewal overnight. I think it's doing pretty well indeed.

I can't write a favourites post without giving an honourable mention to this duo. The Moreish Exfoliator and Clay Mask are a couple that dare to go to skincare extremes. The exfoliator is a gentle and creamy formulation with tiny little jojoba beads that carefully scrub away dead skin cells. The mask is like a creamy clay when applied then it dries a little hard on the skin but seriously, once it's washed off my skin looks radiant! This is a repurchase for me!

Last but certainly not least is the Lush Sympathy For The Skin Hand And Body Lotion. My mum gave me this for my Birthday because she is cool like that. I got this in May and only half the tub has been used, which is good because Lush moisturisers don't come cheap. I love the banana/vanilla scent to this thick cream, I feel like it is the perfect scent for cold weather and because its a much richer cream it works well for my dry skin in Winter.

What have you been loving this Winter?

Have Fun!

*First Impression* Native Box Winter 2015

Full Of New Brands

Yesterday was the arrival of the winter Native Box. All wrapped up in the exciting new package with the familiar Native box logo. I was thrilled!
This is a first impression of the box because these are my favourite kind of posts to read and write.

I am very please to see a full size Absolutely Gorgeous Macadamia Face Cream this winter. I still have quiet a bit of my current moisturiser left but if its as gentle and smoothing as they say, this will be perfect for Spring. As the name suggests this contains macadamia oil along with Rosehip oil and carrot oil to improve skin elasticity and slow down the signs of ageing.

Now, this I'm excited for! The Paleo Skincare gave us a sachet of their Spearmint Tallow Body Wash.  I love the idea of washing myself with mint. I have heard of Paleo Skincare and it really intrigues me. I think the scent will be perfect in summer, I get really tired in Summer (I don't handle heat well ) so this will liven me up after morning gym classes.

Natralus provided us with two sachets each of their Paw Paw Ointment, Paw Paw Gel, and Aloe Vera Gel. I think two sachets are enough to get a pretty good feel of a product, but I'm hoping with fingers crossed that for the Spring box we get full sized Aloe Vera Gel for any accidental sunburn that may happen in Summer.

Wotnot makes a regular appearance in the Native Box. These Body Wipes were a tad underwhelming as the only way I can think of using them is by popping them in the nappy bag for when I go out. I'm guessing they would be handy to use them after going to the gym and I don't have time to head home for shower before running errands. Either way they are free of alcohol, chlorine, perfume, parabens, PEGs and petrochemicals so they would be suitable for any skin type whether they be young or old.

I'm finding little sachets galore in this box! Buckley and Philips Indulgent Body Lotion is a handy one to have when I'm getting bit bored of my current body moisturisers. Sometimes I just like to mix things up. Scented with essentials oils this will be prefect to change my routine to something more natural. (even though I think I do pretty well on that front.)

In amongst the paper shreds is the Awe Cosmeceuticales Rsadna Hydrating Mask. This is something I had to immediately try a bit on my hand and have a quick test. This mask smells amazingly natural with honey and soothing Aloe. I have never used a leave -on mask but I am looking forward to trying this out. Sometimes its pain to wash off a mask when all I want to do is snuggle in front of the fire in the evening. Am I right?

Last but not least is the Pure By Phytocare Papaya Ointment. I have independently bought this previously and quiet liked it. Its just a basic Papaw ointment in a lip balm tube but it does the job. This is probably one of the better brands on the market if you're looking for papaw lip products.

This winters Native Box was full of different brands, some familiar, some that I have never heard of. I like the full sized moisturiser and lip ointment but I feel that there is such thing as too many sachets. I kind of feel that this box isn't the best one that I have opened but I will still enjoy most things.

What do you think of this seasons Native Box?

Have Fun!
