Irresistible Me Diamond Styling Iron

New Technology

I haven't owned a good quality hair straightener before I was offered to trial the Irresistible Me Diamond Styling Tool.* I succumbed to using cheap Velcro rollers as a hair styler, but now I am so excited to be trying a proper hair straighter for years. For someone who has very limited experience with hair styling tools when I opened the box I was impressed with the sleek look, colour and weight of this straighter.
This Diamond styler is a Smart-Iron with Celsius and Fahrenheit conversion, it adjusts  to provide perfect contact between your hair and the plates, and more! I found the long cord with a 360 degree swivel very handy for getting to every angle of my hair without the tugging and frustration of  short power cord.

 Some great features include:
  • Its has a display, so you can see what temperature it is.
  • The temperature is adjustable.
  • It is lightweight and it comes in  fun colour.
  • It heats up fast and turns off automatically.
  • It creates frizz free hair!
I am very impresses with the stylish and easy to use hair styling tool that straightens and curls. I would recommend this to my friends!

Be aware that the Irresistable Me Diamond Styling Tool requires a power adapter for Australian homes. Avaliable at Dick Smith, Harvey Norman, the Post Office. I got mine from Strandbags.

The Irresistible Me Diamond is normally $149 but at the moment they are having a Halloween sale for $112, get in quick! : http://www.irresistibleme.com/hair-tools.html

Trying This Spring...

In My Cabinet.

Spring is always an exciting time for me. I feel a lot more adventurous with trying new products and these are a few that I will be adding to my routine.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse is a brand new item for me. This is the famous dry oil with 6 precious vegetable oils. It's suppose to soften and strengthen everywhere from your body, face and hair. I plan on using this in my hair and as an extra supplement when I get dry legs.

Its a no-briner that I will be using this tester size of the Adorn Illuminiser this Spring. It gives my skin such a pretty glow! I feel like I can put this on top of any base such as a BB+ Cream or a mineral foundation and it stays put and last most of the day.

Hopefully if I have enough time to paint my nails I will swipe on a couple of coats of the Sea Siren Nail Varnish in Sea Shells. Sea Siren is a company that makes Vegan polishes and is '5 Free'. I like this shade because its a classic taupe/beige and it's a lovely neutral shade to wear this spring.

A while ago at the Perth Bloggers United meet I was gifted the ChiChi Chandelier Lips Lacquer in Brat Pack. I don't usually wear lip glosses in winter but as soon as the sun comes out, my make-up (on the days that I wear any at all, lets be real) gets a bit more shimmery. So I'm going to give this crystallised lip gloss a whirl. It comes in a pale pink base that has barely any pigment so it should be perfect for layering on a day out or I will probably wear it on it's own for a more understated look.

When I dig the shorts out I also dig out the tanning body moisturiser. Being naturally pale is great, embrace your natural beauty! But there are some major benefits to the Pure Tan Gradual Tan. First it's SPF 15+, also it's gradual. So I can pop a bit on, get a healthy looking glow and then stop at that. I love being in control!

Papaya or Paw Paw Ointment really is an essential beauty item. I love this little tube with the simple lip applicator. I find this one is the best I have tried as it is unscented, pure and moisturises my lips to wonderful softness. A basic lip ointment like this will live in my bag this Spring.

One more item I will be using this Spring is the Moom Wax Kit. Waxing is a brilliant way to get longevity with hair removal, that's why I have never been a fan of shaving. It takes just a little more time to wax my legs but I get at least four weeks of hair-free legs.

So those are the things that I am keen to add to my routine for this season.

Have Fun!

Jamberry Nail Wraps

It's A Wrap!

Ever since nail design smashed into the beauty scene there has been multiple products to help you get the best result, like fine-tipped polish applictors, nail pens and now Jamberry!
Jamberry Wraps* are an affordable nail art alternative to fiddling with messy polished and having a precision hand (which I have not, by the way). The wraps come in an array of designs and new ones are being released regularly. The application takes only a few minutes and the result is neat nail art!
The design I received for trial were white base with blue, pink and green dots on them, this design suits fun weekend wear. I have very short nails and tiny nail beds so I was keen to see how these nail wraps would stick.

Surprisingly they were still easy to apply and suck to my nail just fine. The application is simple and can be completed in just a few minutes.
In a nutshell:
  • Push back cuticles and clean nails.
  • Match nail to nail wrap that best fits.
  • Peel off nails wrap and warm adhesive with mini heater or hairdryer.
  • When warm press nail warp onto the nail, apply firm pressure and use cuticle pusher to seal adhesive around the edge of the nail.
  • To remove excess, trim edge of wrap and file off the rest with nail file using downward strokes.
  • Apply heat and pressure to the wrap again.
Your tube videos are even available to watch for proper application and removal of the wraps:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWChddzkXeU
